Allensmore Nurseries Ltd is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to support the Planning and Operations team on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

Allensmore Nurseries are a market leading customer focused organisation who supply high quality outdoor garden plants to a wide range of customers across the UK. We have a stable team of over 100 employees based across 3 locations all close to Hereford.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the production plan
  • Generate material requirements and create and process purchase orders
  • Schedule and issue job sheets
  • Process and update systems with returned job sheets
  • Issue and complete periodic stock take returns
  • Process imported materials
  • Generate and issue performance reports
  • Generate production plan related labour requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of functions and processes

Key Skills required:

  • Be well-organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to use IT systems particularly Excel
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Operational teams and the wider business
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to prioritise their workload

Desirable:

  • Previous production planning or administrative experience

Working Hours:

25 Hours per week worked between Monday and Friday 09:00 to 14:00

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temporary

Contract length: 12 months
